Tali Abernathy Jones


Tali Jones is a black trans woman living in Olympia, WA. She is the co-founder of Organizing Trans Olympia, a local organization contributing on-the-ground activism, fostering inter-community organization, and maintaining a social media hub for local trans folks to keep track of projects and events. She has a decade long history of activist work, including launching the Thurston County Chapter of the Washington SAFE Alliance, acting as Data Analyst and Head of Research for the Trans Youth Channel, and being a Youth Facilitator at Stonewall Youth. 

Board Members

Board members are the governing body of a nonprofit organization. Individuals who sit on the board are responsible for overseeing the organization's activities. Board members meet periodically to discuss and vote on the affairs of the organization.
  • Ari LaTourette

    Ari is a disabled trans person who has been doing work in the queer and trans community for over a decade. They currently hold the position of Chapter Coordinator for the Washington SAFE Alliance. 
  • Raiin Stone

    Raiin is a queer black woman finishing a degree in Natural Science/Social Science at the Evergreen State College. She is involved in various community activities and leadership roles in Olympia and the surrounding area. 
  • Vlad Klyuchnikov

    Vlad is a demisexual, panromantic Ukrainian who immigrated to the U.S. in 2000. He works as an Information Technology Specialist and spends his free time playing video games.
